In case you haven’t heard, we are doing a pre-order on one of our iconic Christmas collections for one day only, Monday, July 25th from 12 Noon EST to 12 Midnight. Some of our favorite collections to design are the Lev Baby Holiday collections – they bring joy to families' faces. They create so many memories during the holiday time and they bring families together. We designed Meri to capture the feeling of baking at Christmas time. Baking with the family, the smells, delivering baked goods to family and friends, the memories your kids will carry with them. It’s about creating moments with each collection and a sense of togetherness. We also believe it’s important to create togetherness year-round. Find a few ideas below of how we do that.
Baking cookies:
We love baking around the holidays but baking year-round can definitely create a sense of togetherness. Throw on your matching jammies and start baking! Here we shared one of our favorite gingerbread cookie recipes.
2/3C of butter
3/4 C of brown sugar
2/3C molasses
1 large egg
1t vanilla
3 1/2c flour
1t baking soda, 1/2t salt
1T ginger, 1T cinnamon , 1/2t ground allspice, 1/2t ground cloves
Add brown sugar and molasses and butter. Next meet in eggs & vanilla on high speed for 2 full minutes. Separate bowl mix the flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, allspice and cloves. Mix into the wet ingredients until combined. Wrap up and chill for at least 3 hours and up to 3 days. Chilling is mandatory. Pre-heat oven at 350degrees, bake for 9-10 minutes.

Bringing the family outside whether it’s just for a walk or a hike brings people together. You are disconnected and out in nature - this is so important for everyone.
Bedtime stories
Reading together! It doesn’t just have to be at bedtime but creating traditions of reading together as a family. It can be a short book - there is a bigger message here of creating a routine, tradition and the feeling of family togetherness.
No matter what time of the year it is – we always believe family matching brings families together. Babies and kids love copying their parents and their siblings and even when it comes to dressing. Let’s remember the excitement the holidays bring and the feeling of togetherness and create those feelings all year-round.
